Whether you’re a kid or just young at heart, you’ll find no shortage of things to see and do in The Palm Beaches. Dip your hands into a touch tank teeming with aquatic critters. Visit the Cox Science Centre and Aquarium and be awed by a planetarium laser-light show. Or treat yourself to a good, old-fashioned day of arcade games, go-karting, and laser tag. Whatever your definition of fun, the options are plenty in The Palm Beaches! From amazing animal encounters to rip-roaring water parks, you’ll find fun activities for kids around every corner in The Palm Beaches (and plenty for parents to love, too).

At the top of the list of kid-friendly activities: the fabulous beaches. With 47 miles of coastline inviting families to snorkel vibrant reefs, go for a paddle, hop in a boat, or build sandcastles on one of the beautiful beach parks. Watery fun awaits at beaches like Singer Island and Carlin Park in Jupiter, both famed for their clear, gentle waters.

You could easily spend an entire day at Sugar Sand Park in Boca Raton, which boasts a Children’s Science Explorium, playgrounds and nature trails, a carousel and a 155-seat theatre that hosts family-friendly productions. Rapids water park offers thrill rides and chill rides that the whole family will love. Expect big fun at the area’s mini-golf parks, from Jupiter to Boca Raton.

Sea turtles are some of the most beloved residents in The Palm Beaches, and kids can learn all about them at the Loggerhead Marinelife Centre in Juno Beach and Gumbo Limbo Nature Centre in Boca Raton. If you time your visit right, you may even be able to see nesting sea turtles in the wild on a guided nature walk.

For more animal encounters, don’t miss Lion Country Safari, where you can cruise by big cats, rhinos, ostriches, feed a giraffe, or get up-close with a koala. Manatee Lagoon lets kids learn and discover Florida’s beloved “sea cows,” while the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is home to nearly 200 animal species, from playful otters to cuddly koalas.

Take a thrill ride or a chill ride at Rapids Water Park in Riviera Beach, which has everything from laid-back lazy rivers to slides that plunge you into total darkness.
